Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for a major ADNOC Offshore project based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

You will develop procurement strategies, manage vendor selection, ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, and coordinate with engineering, contracts, and project controls to keep the schedule and budget.

The role requires strong leadership, English communication, and experience with EPC/PMC projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Extensive procurement and supply chain experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong experience as a Procurement Manager / Procurement Lead on major EPC or PMC projects.
• Significant exposure to Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Previous experience with ADNOC / ADNOC Offshore EPC or PMC projects is strongly preferred.
• Strong experience in strategic sourcing, procurement planning, contract negotiations and vendor management.
• Knowledge of procurement activities for major offshore equipment, materials and packages.
• Strong understanding of interfaces between procurement, engineering, project controls and project execution.
• Familiarity with SAP / SAP Ariba and ADNOC procurement procedures would be advantageous.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, commercial awareness and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall procurement activities throughout project execution.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of project procurement strategies and procurement plans.
• Monitor EPC Contractor procurement activities to ensure alignment with project requirements, schedules and contractual obligations.
• Manage strategic sourcing activities and support appropriate contractor/vendor selection.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable ADNOC standards and requirements.
• Review procurement plans, material requisitions, RFQs/RFPs, commercial evaluations, purchase recommendations and purchase orders, as applicable.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Project Management teams to ensure technical requirements and procurement priorities are addressed.
• Monitor procurement status of critical equipment and materials and identify potential schedule risks.
• Support the evaluation and selection of qualified vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor vendor and supplier performance against project requirements.
• Coordinate procurement interfaces between ADNOC, EPC Contractors and suppliers.
• Support commercial and contractual negotiations with vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure procurement activities remain aligned with project budget requirements.
• Monitor long-lead equipment and materials and elevate potential procurement delays.
• Coordinate with engineering, contracts, project controls, expediting, inspection, logistics and construction functions to support timely project delivery.
• Review EPC Contractor procurement progress and provide appropriate recommendations to project management.
• Manage and support resolution of vendor, supplier and procurement-related issues.
• Promote effective vendor management and maintain strong working relationships with key project stakeholders.
• Ensure proper procurement documentation, reporting and records are maintained throughout project execution.
• Support project management in identifying procurement risks and implementing appropriate mitigation actions.
• Provide procurement progress updates and highlight critical issues requiring management attention.
• Ensure procurement activities support the overall requirements of offshore engineering, fabrication, construction, installation and commissioning.
