Job summary

DP World is seeking a Master Mariner for offshore vessel operations in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on managing vessels, crew coordination, and safety compliance on an on/off rotation schedule.

You will lead deck and port activities, ensure availability of resources, and maintain high standards in line with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has a Master Mariner certificate and 2–3 years of Port Captain or similar experience, with a proven track record in offshore

Qualifications

• Master Mariner qualification and offshore certification.
• Experience as Master/Captain on offshore support vessels.
• 2–3 years experience as Port Captain or similar.
• Role is offshore with 2 months on/off rotation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vessel operations, budget adherence and provisioning.
• Lead crew selection and briefing for voyages.
• Coordinate with vessel master and departments on safety and compliance.
• Ensure ISM/OCIMF guidelines and training requirements.
