Job summary

Telford Offshore in Dubai seeks a seasoned DP Vessel Operations Manager to oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of the fleet, acting as a liaison between onshore management and offshore personnel.

You will coordinate with Masters, Chief Engineers, and the crewing and supply chain teams to ensure compliance with class, flag, and statutory requirements, budget maintenance Opex, and drive continual improvement in HSEQ.

Qualifications

• Experience in the marine sector is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Ability to prioritise and work under limited supervision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical operations of DP vessels, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate with onshore management and offshore personnel as a liaison.
• Ensure vessel class, flag and statutory certification are current and compliant.
• Liaise with Masters and Chief Engineers to optimize machinery operation and maintenance.
• Manage dry-dockings, repairs and maintenance planning and budgeting.
• Assist Operations Manager with annual repair and maintenance Opex budgeting.
• Provide technical guidance to Supply Chain and crewing departments as needed.
• Support vessel crew as first line of contact on vessel or client contract matters.
