Job summary

Abu Dhabi Ports is seeking a highly experienced Port Captain / MSI to oversee offshore fleet marine operations, ensuring DP2 readiness, compliance, and client satisfaction. The role requires senior sea-going leadership and strong collaboration with Fleet Management and Crewing.

The successful candidate will supervise inspections, mobilizations, and vessel readiness in support of offshore projects, adhering to ISM/ISPS/MLC and applicable regulatory standards while maintaining vessel performance

Qualifications

• Master Mariner qualification or equivalent with senior offshore experience.
• Extensive knowledge of DP2 operations, vessel mobilization and project support.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and risk assessment abilities.
• In-depth understanding of ISM/ISPS/MLC/STCW and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide shore-based marine oversight for DP2 offshore fleet and Masters.
• Monitor vessel readiness, inspections, and mobilizations; raise risks.
• Lead marine coordination for mobilizations/demobilizations and client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with ISM/ISPS/MLC/flag and class requirements and safety standards.
