Job summary

Black & Grey HR is seeking a Port Captain – Offshore & Marine for our client’s Abu Dhabi marine operations team. This shore-based role involves marine assurance, nautical oversight, and coordinating with Vessel Masters, port authorities, and clients.

Responsibilities include supervising DP vessels, enforcing ISM/SOLAS, conducting risk assessments, and leading incident investigations while supporting offshore campaigns and vessel mobilizations.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class 1 Master Mariner CoC.
• 10–15 years of seagoing experience, including offshore roles.
• Experience as Master or Port Captain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide marine assurance oversight for the fleet, including DP vessels and offshore support vessels.
• Ensure ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL compliance across vessels.
• Coordinate with port authorities and clients for arrivals, port clearance, and offshore campaigns.
• Support voyage planning, weather routing, and marine logistics with Vessel Masters.
