Job summary

Hire Rightt - Executive Search & HR Advisory seeks a senior Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Specialist for offshore/onshore roles in the UAE. The role focuses on short-term planning, CMMS-driven work prep, and robust project controls across Drilling, Operations, Maintenance, Integrity and Construction.

You will lead an offshore team, coach planners, coordinate shutdowns, optimize schedules, and ensure accurate weekly progress reporting.

Qualifications

15+ years in maintenance planning and scheduling with leadership experience.
5+ years supervising a team of planners/schedulers in refinery/oil-field or petrochemical.
5 years EPC projects planning and controls in Oil & Gas.
Coordinated major shutdown/turnaround projects offshore or refinery.
Strong written and spoken English; ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Enhance short-term planning, support project controls and reporting, and drive continuous improvement.
CMMS work preparation, scheduling, resource assignment, and reporting.
Supervise offshore planners; apply integrated planning across Drilling, Operations, Maintenance, Integrity and Construction.
Collate, publish, and track weekly schedule progress with backlog reduction and priorities.
Support Onshore Planners for shutdowns; review critical path, durations, and conflicts.
