Job summary

Aurko is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Dubai for the planning and execution of turnaround activities on plant assets in the oil & gas sector. The role requires setting up overall schedules, defining milestones, and coordinating with operations, maintenance supervisors, foremen and engineers to ensure timely repairs.

The candidate will develop work packs, manage CMMS, procure materials, and maintain accurate progress reports and statistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years in Plant Maintenance Scheduling and Planning in large organizations.
• 3+ years on-site maintenance experience, petrochemical/oil & gas preferred.
• Proficient in Primavera and MS Project.
• Strong CMMS experience; full life cycle planning of preventive/shutdowns.
• Excellent planning and scheduling capabilities.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.

Responsibilities

• Set up Turnaround Overall Schedule/Bar-chart with milestones.
• Determine job sequences for repairs and coordinate with operations.
• Verify schedule accuracy and completeness.
• Report progress and challenges to schedule.
• Develop repair schedule, spare parts list, manpower, facilities for repairs.
• Prepare shutdown work scope and work packs (P&ID, Isometrics, GA drawings, data sheets, blind list, ITP).
• Issue work orders and manage CMMS reporting.
• Develop material requirements and issue reservations.
• Identify materials/tools/equipment for each job step and ensure on-site availability.
• Review released maintenance work orders and material reservations daily.
• Prepare maintenance statistics and reports and track progress.
• Update annual planned maintenance and compliance with policies.
