Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd is seeking a Pipeline Welding Supervisor to oversee welding operations offshore/onshore, ensuring weld integrity and adherence to project specifications and procedures. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage weld readiness, materials and consumables, monitor KPI and safety, and liaise with engineers and inspectors to meet schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on pipeline welding experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory roles.
• Proficiency in reading Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and inspection plan documents.
• Experience with offshore projects and various base materials (carbon steel, CRA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pipeline welding activities at firing line/onsite construction stations as per procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with Field/Production Engineer, QC, NDT and other stakeholders to ensure timely production continuity.
• Ensure welding readiness: procedures, stations, qualified welders, consumables, and manpower.
