Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd. seeks an experienced Pipeline NDT Lead to ensure seamless integration of pipeline NDT techniques across the project lifecycle.

The role focuses on development, qualification, and implementation of NDT systems to ensure high productivity and quality on pipelay vessels. The incumbent will oversee detailed NDT procedures, coordinate with operations and certification authorities, and drive cost-efficient testing while maintaining safety and compliance in offshore

Qualifications

• NDT/AUT experience with offshore pipeline projects and supervision.
• Certification in MUT, MPI, LPT and AUT/PAUT or equivalent preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of NDT systems, procedures, and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced NDT procedures for pipeline welding.
• Oversee staffing, budgeting, and scheduling for NDT activities offshore.
• Coordinate with customers, certifying authorities, and subcontractors on NDT scope.
• Evaluate NDT results, drive quality improvements in welding procedures.
