Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd in Dubai seeks a Field Joint Coating Supervisor for pipelines. You will supervise coating readiness, surface preparation, coating application, curing, and inspection to protect pipeline integrity across offshore and onshore projects.

The role requires 5–10 years in pipeline coating, FROSIO/NACE certs preferred, and proven supervisory experience on offshore construction. You will coordinate with engineers, QA/QC, and field personnel to maintain production schedules.

Qualifications

Minimum 5-10 years of coating supervision experience in pipelines.
Experience with Field Joint Coating (FJC) procedures and PQT is essential.
Knowledge of coating readiness, surface preparation, curing, and inspection.

Responsibilities

Supervise field joint coating activities at firing line and onsite stations.
Ensure work follows approved FJC procedures and project specs.
Maintain coating integrity through surface prep, material application, curing, and inspection.
Coordinate daily activities with project engineers, QA/QC teams, and supervisors.
Support production clearance by resolving coating-related constraints.
