Job summary

KBR is seeking a Specialist HSE (Projects) Engineer for an Offshore Water Injection Project in the United Arab Emirates. You will lead HSE management across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international standards during engineering, procurement, construction, offshore installation, commissioning, and start-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• Professional HSE certification is required.
• NEBOSH International Diploma / IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, CSP and other offshore safety certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE leadership to project management, engineering, construction, commissioning and contractor teams.
• Implement and maintain the Project HSE Management Plan and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Lead risk assessments and safety studies (HAZID/HAZOP/JHA/JSA) and oversee incident investigations.
• Monitor offshore construction activities, audits, and HSE performance reporting.
