Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Specialist Digitalization Engineer to lead digital engineering strategy for offshore oil & gas or renewable energy projects. The role covers FEED, EPC, commissioning, and handover, ensuring use of digital twins, BIM/3D models, data analytics, and integrated engineering information management.

Ideal candidates have extensive Oil & Gas experience, offshore project leadership, and PMC exposure, with a track record in implementing digital transformation across large, complex

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years in Oil & Gas engineering, at least 8+ years in offshore projects.
• Minimum years leading digital engineering teams.
• PMC experience preferred.
• Experience in FEED and EPC projects.
• ADNOC or similar operator experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the project’s digitalization strategy across FEED, EPC, commissioning and handover phases.
• Coordinate digital engineering activities across multidisciplinary teams and with client objectives.
• Establish digital workflows, governance, and data management standards.
• Lead Digital Twin initiatives and integration of engineering models with operational systems.
• Oversee asset handover and validation of AIM deliverables.
