Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd is seeking a Senior Principal IT Specialist – Digital Twin to lead end‑to‑end Digital Twin programs for offshore assets in the Oil & Energy sector. You will shape use cases, define architectures, and guide implementation across engineering, operations and maintenance domains from Dubai.

Strong leadership and collaboration across senior stakeholders are essential. The role requires extensive experience in Digital Twin delivery, autonomous operations and OT/IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
• 8–12 years of experience in digitalization, Digital Twin delivery, or related tech programs in Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of offshore Oil & Gas facilities and lifecycle stages.
• Experience delivering digital solutions for EPC and O&M environments.
• Proven ability to lead complex IT solutions from concept to implementation.
• Track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent communication for executives, customers and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Digital Twin projects from concept through design, implementation, testing, deployment and close‑out.
• Deliver end‑to‑end Digital Twin solutions meeting scope, budget and quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain a Digital Twin roadmap aligned with strategy and delivery goals.
• Identify opportunities to enhance EPC and O&M processes via digitalization.
• Coordinate cross‑discipline teams across project phases and stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain and improve digital platforms, applications and workflows for O&M.
• Analyse risks, manage scope, schedule and resources throughout delivery.
