John Wood Group PLC is seeking a Specialist Digitalization Engineer to lead digitalisation activities for offshore oil & gas or renewable energy projects within a PMC setting.

The role focuses on developing and implementing the digital engineering strategy, leveraging digital twins, BIM/3D models and data analytics to enhance project execution and lifecycle asset management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading digitalization initiatives in offshore oil & gas projects.
• Knowledge of digital twins, BIM, data analytics and engineering information management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the digital engineering strategy and its execution on offshore or renewables projects.
• Coordinate with PMC teams through FEED, EPC, commissioning and handover phases.
• Drive digital twins, BIM/3D models and analytics to improve project delivery and lifecycle asset management.

Job Objective

The PMC Specialist Digitalization Engineer is responsible for leading the digital engineering strategy, implementation, and integration for offshore oil & gas projects during FEED, EPC, commissioning, and handover phases. The role ensures the effective use of digital technologies, engineering information management systems, digital twins, BIM/3D models, data analytics, and smart asset solutions to improve project execution, operational efficiency, and lifecycle asset management.
