Job summary

Worley is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer for offshore projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on technical assurance, compliance with discipline scope, governing codes and standards, and approval of critical documents with input on concession requests and design optimization.

Responsibilities include coordinating with EPC/FEED contractors, reviewing vendor deliverables, and participating in design reviews, 3D model sessions, constructability, SIL/HAZOP/HAZID sessions, and site inspections to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
Minimum 15+ years of relevant Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience, including 5+ years in GCC region (preferred).
At least 5 years in a similar position managing a team of specialists, senior engineers and engineers.
Offshore project experience is required.
Experience with FEED and EPC projects, preferably offshore developments.
ADNOC project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
Identify, evaluate, and resolve project management issues during early work and FEED phases.
Identify, evaluate, and resolve electrical engineering issues.
Act on behalf of Owner on all matters with EPC/FEED Contractor coordination.
Review and approve contractor deliverables and key design documents for compliance with project specs.
Attend technical meetings with Owner, Licensor, Contractor and Vendors.
