Detailed Job Description

As an O365 / EUC Engineer at Alpha Data Recruitment in Abu Dhabi, you will take full ownership of Microsoft 365 tenant administration, L3 escalation handling, mailbox migrations, hybrid identity synchronization, and tenant health monitoring. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass administering Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams policies, managing Microsoft Entra ID licensing and Conditional Access, executing bulk operations via PowerShell, and resolving complex Exchange Hybrid and mail flow issues. You will support large-scale account lifecycle management, perform change impact assessments, and contribute to platform automation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Administer enterprise Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) including identity provisioning, licensing, Conditional Access policies, security groups, and hybrid directory synchronization.
• Configure, manage, and optimize Microsoft Teams policies, meetings, calling architectures, and Teams Rooms deployments.
• Handle complex L3 escalations related to Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, identity platforms, and productivity suites.
• Execute mailbox migrations, shared mailbox provisioning, distribution list management, and dynamic group administration.
• Perform advanced Microsoft 365 administration, reporting, and bulk operations utilizing PowerShell scripting.
• Troubleshoot Exchange Hybrid architectures, complex mail flow anomalies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access failures.
• Support tenant health monitoring, service advisories, patch updates, and change impact assessments across enterprise subscriptions.
• Manage large-scale account creation, licensing allocation, archiving activities, and offboarding workflows.
• Contribute proactively to platform automation, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of professional working experience specializing in Microsoft 365, EUC, and Collaboration Engineering.
• Strong hands-on operational experience administering Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
• Deep technical knowledge of Entra ID / Azure AD Connect and Hybrid Identity synchronization architectures.
• Extensive practical proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administration and task automation.
• Strong understanding of Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Identity Protection frameworks.
• Proven experience troubleshooting Exchange Hybrid deployments and complex mail flow issues.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing models (including Education SKUs).
• Essential fluency in English (Arabic language skills are advantageous).
