NMC in Abu Dhabi seeks a registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, educate patients and families, and support safety and clinical standards across departments.

The role requires an active nursing license, BLS certification, and strong English communication skills. Experience with EMR systems and commitment to ongoing licensure are essential.

Formación

• Must hold license to work as a registered nurse with the relevant regulatory authority.
• Maintain professional re-licensure.
• American Heart Association BLS provider card required.
• Willing to work across departments when necessary.
• Clear and effective English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about health conditions, and provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Assess and identify patients' needs and implement and monitor the medical plan with the team.
• Perform systematic patient assessment and re-assessment and collect pertinent data.
• Understand and analyse the assessment information and data.
• Determine actual and potential nursing diagnoses and issues.
• Define the expected outcomes of the patient’s planned care.
• Create and evaluate patient care plans with the interprofessional team and patient involvement.
• Record vital signs, address escalations as needed.
• Maintain and update clinical skills related to nursing practice.
• Promote patients’ health and a safe environment.
• Understand diagnostic tests and laboratory examinations.
• Perform essential life support per regulatory requirements (BLS/ACLS/PALS etc.).
• Prepare patients for medical examination and treatment.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Administer treatments such as IV fluids or blood products.
• Provide wound care management.
• Assist in invasive or non-invasive procedures.
• Facilitate safe patient admission, transfer and discharge.
