Job summary

NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, compassionate, and individualized care to patients. The post holder will work collaboratively with physicians and allied health staff, coordinate care plans, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and life-support protocols.

Essential licensure and BLS certification are required; proficiency in English is necessary, with Arabic skills desirable.

Qualifications

• Must hold an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority.
• Maintain professional re-licensure.
• Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
• Desirable: ability to communicate in Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and families about health conditions, and offer emotional support.
• Assess and identify patient needs and implement and monitor medical plans with the care team.
• Record vital signs and monitor for abnormalities, document data in medical records.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects, assist in procedures.
• Support safe patient admission, transfer and discharge processes.
