Job summary

NMC in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a qualified nurse to provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and families, and deliver emotional support as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The post holder will assess needs, plan and implement care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, perform life support when required, and ensure safe admissions, transfers and discharges. Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid nursing license from the relevant regulatory authority.
• Maintain professional re-licensure in accordance with regulations.
• Must have a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) provider card.
• Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
• Communicate clearly in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care, educating patients and the public about health conditions and offering emotional support to patients and families.
• Assess and identify patient needs, then implement and monitor the medical plan with interprofessional colleagues.
• Record vital signs, interpret data, and escalate abnormalities as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects and reactions.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes safely.
