Job summary

Simone's Tutoring is a premium home-based educational support company operating across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Al Ain. Tutors deliver numeracy interventions online, at students' homes, or in schools, earning a 60% commission on paid lessons and packages.

We require a maths-qualified tutor with CRA knowledge and a MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility. Flexible freelance schedule and independent contractor terms enable a meaningful private practice in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education or Primary/Secondary Education required.
• MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain.
• Minimum 2 years maths teaching or numeracy intervention experience.
• Knowledge of CRA or evidence-based numeracy approaches.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Assess students' numeracy levels using standardised and informal tools

Use concrete, representational, and abstract (CRA) teaching approaches

Build foundational number sense, arithmetic, and problem-solving skills

Differentiate instruction for students with dyscalculia, ADHD, or SEN

Collaborate with class teachers and SEN teams on numeracy goals

Monitor progress and report on intervention outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education or Primary/Secondary Education

MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain

Minimum 2 years numeracy intervention or maths teaching experience

Knowledge of CRA or evidence-based numeracy approaches

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with maths SEN or dyscalculia

Familiarity with IB Maths or IGCSE Mathematics

UAE Licensing Requirements

Tutors and educational specialists operating in the UAE are required to hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant permit before providing in-person services. Please ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations.

Compensation

Additional earnings may be available through workshops, holiday programmes, group classes, and corporate training opportunities.
