Job summary

Simone's Tutoring is seeking a CAIE, Pearson Edexcel & OxfordAQA Specialist Tutor to support students studying international British curricula. The role covers GCSE to A Level, abroad and in Dubai, with private sessions and online options.

You will assess, tailor tuition, and develop exam strategies while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to build confidence and independent learning for students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject is required.
• MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience teaching British international curricula.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' academic strengths and exam readiness.
• Deliver tuition aligned with CAIE, Edexcel, and OxfordAQA specs.
• Teach content using current syllabi and exam objectives.
• Develop exam strategies using past papers and exam reports.
• Support coursework, assessments, and practical components where applicable.

About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable CAIE, Pearson Edexcel & OxfordAQA Specialist Tutorto support students studying international qualifications across the British curriculum. You will provide expert tuition aligned with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), Pearson Edexcel, and OxfordAQA specifications, helping students strengthen subject knowledge, examination technique, and academic confidence across GCSE, IGCSE, International GCSE, AS Level, and A Level programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Assess students' academic strengths, curriculum requirements, and examination readiness

Deliver personalised tuition aligned with CAIE, Pearson Edexcel, and OxfordAQA specifications

Teach subject content using current syllabi and examination objectives

Develop examination strategies using past papers, mark schemes, and examiner reports

Support coursework, controlled assessments, and practical components where applicable

Monitor academic progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents

Build students' confidence, analytical thinking, and independent learning skills

Collaborate with Simone's Tutoring subject specialists to provide comprehensive academic support

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or the relevant subject specialisation

MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain

Minimum 3 years' experience teaching or tutoring British international curricula

Strong knowledge of CAIE, Pearson Edexcel, and/or OxfordAQA examination specifications

Preferred Qualifications

PGCE or recognised teaching qualification

Experience teaching GCSE, IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level programmes

Experience across multiple international examination boards

UAE Licensing Requirements

Tutors and educational specialists operating in the UAE are required to hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant permit before providing in-person services. Please ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations.

Compensation

Earn 60% commission on all checked-in, completed, and fully paid student lessons and packages.
Commission is calculated after the student's payment has been received by Simone's Tutoring.
Payments are processed monthly.
Tutors are engaged as independent contractors and manage their own tax and visa obligations.
Additional earnings may be available through workshops, holiday programmes, group classes, and corporate training opportunities.
