Job summary

Simone's Tutoring in Dubai seeks a Dyscalculia Specialist for assessment and targeted maths interventions. You will deliver evidence-based, multisensory sessions to boost number sense and confidence in students with dyscalculia.

The role requires MOHRE Tutor Permit eligibility, 2+ years of intervention experience, and familiarity with NUMICON or CRA approaches. Flexible freelance schedule and home/school sessions are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years specialist maths intervention experience.
• Training in evidence-based numeracy interventions.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Dyscalculia Specialist to provide assessment and targeted intervention for students with dyscalculia and numeracy difficulties. You will deliver evidence-based, multisensory maths interventions to build students' number sense, confidence, and mathematical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct specialist dyscalculia and numeracy assessments
• Design and implement structured maths intervention programmes
• Use multisensory and concrete-representational-abstract (CRA) approaches
• Advise on maths accommodations, assistive tools, and exam adjustments
• Monitor students' numeracy progress using standardised assessments
• Collaborate with class teachers, parents, and SEN coordinators
• Write assessment and intervention reports for schools and families

Minimum Qualifications

• Recognised dyscalculia or maths learning difficulties qualification
• MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain
• Minimum 2 years specialist maths intervention experience
• Training in evidence-based numeracy interventions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Numicon, Ronit Bird, or equivalent programmes
• Familiarity with IGCSE or IB maths curricula

UAE Licensing Requirements

Tutors and educational specialists operating in the UAE are required to hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant permit before providing in-person services. Please ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations.

Compensation
Earn 65% commission on all checked-in, completed, and fully paid student sessions and packages.
Commission is based on completed sessions that have been paid by the client.
