Job summary

Metasearch Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced New Product Development Manager for the UAE construction chemicals sector. The role focuses on leading development, formulation, testing and launching innovative products while identifying new opportunities and aligning with market needs.

The candidate will optimise existing formulations and coordinate with Marketing, Production, Quality and Procurement to ensure successful commercialisation, backed by 12-15+ years in construction

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years of experience in Construction Chemicals Manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience in New Product Development, formulation and product optimisation.
• Experience with developing construction chemical products and taking them from concept to commercialisation.
• Good understanding of raw materials, formulations, laboratory testing and production scale-up.
• Experience with waterproofing, tile adhesives, flooring, repair products, sealants, admixtures or related construction chemical products will be preferred.
• Strong coordination skills with R&D, Production, Quality, Procurement, Marketing and Sales teams.
• Good understanding of product certification, quality standards and testing requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, formulation, testing and launch of innovative construction chemical products.
• Identify new product opportunities and develop products aligned with market requirements.

The role will be responsible for identifying new product opportunities, developing products in line with market requirements, optimising existing formulations and working closely with Marketing, Production, Quality and Procurement teams to ensure successful commercialisation.

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry or a related discipline.

Master's Degree in a relevant technical discipline will be an advantage.

12-15+ years of experience in Construction Chemicals Manufacturing.
