Qualifications

Detailed Job Description

As a Network Engineer supporting our systems integration client in Sharjah, UAE, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise routing, switching, datacenter networking, and firewall security. Your day-to-day responsibilities include configuring Cisco IOS/NX-OS platforms, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, and VRFs, deploying Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto next-generation firewalls, managing site-to-site VPNs and remote access, administering F5 load balancers, and implementing Cisco ISE and 802.1X network access control. You will operate in a collaborative enterprise technology environment while partnering directly with global engineering squads and recruitment contacts like Vidya.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, test, and maintain enterprise routing and switching infrastructures utilizing Cisco IOS/NX-OS platforms.
• Implement and manage advanced routing protocols and switching topologies including OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, and VRFs.
• Deploy, configure, and harden next-generation firewalls including Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto platforms.
• Manage secure site-to-site and remote access VPN tunnels, firewall rule reviews, network segmentation, and access control lists (ACLs).
