Role Overview

The Music Teacher will plan and deliver structured music lessons within a CBSE school environment, introducing primary students to vocal performance, rhythm, melody, instruments and basic music theory while encouraging creativity, confidence and active participation. The teacher will create an inclusive classroom where students of varying abilities explore music, practise performance skills, and develop an appreciation for diverse musical forms. The role also supports school assemblies, celebrations, performances and other music‑related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for primary‑level students.
• Teach vocal music, instrumental music or a suitable combination of both.
• Introduce students to rhythm, melody, pitch, tempo and basic music theory.

• Select age‑appropriate songs, exercises and musical activities.
• Encourage individual participation and group performance.
