Job summary

Travel and Leisure co. seeks a guest services professional in Ras al-Khaimah to greet and register owners and guests, provide local area information, and handle department paperwork.

You will use phones, faxes and computers and coordinate with resort operations to ensure a seamless check-in. Fluent in Arabic and English with strong communication and presentation skills is required; Russian native level is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar hotel position.
• Excellent customer service and local area knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Arabic and English proficiency.
• Professional presentation and grooming standards.
• High computer literacy.
• Experience with PMS systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and registering of owners and guests.
• Providing information on local area attractions.
• Completion of all department-related paperwork.
• Using all communication equipment, including telephones, facsimiles and computers.
• Assist in the tour generation process to meet qualifications.
• Meet guests face to face and generate sales appointments for sales centres.
• Build rapport with customers to ensure an exceptional experience.
• Coordinate with resort operations for seamless check-in.
• Articulate benefits of travelling within Travel amp Leisure's community.
• Meet targets and KPIs; weekend and public holiday shifts required.
