Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre and adjacent properties require a senior financial leader to guide strategy and oversee the finance operations for a cluster of hotels. This role sits on the Executive Committee and drives the financial plan and brand-aligned initiatives.

The position emphasizes execution of accounting activities, strong financial results, and collaboration with owners and executives to optimize ROI across properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; 2 years experience in the finance and accounting or related professional area.
• Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops means to improve profit, including estimating cost and benefit and exploring new business opportunities.
• Analyzes information, forecasts sales against expenses and creates annual budget plans.
• Compiles information, analyzes and monitors actual sales against projected sales.
• Analyzes differences between actual budget wages and forecasted wages for more efficient budget planning.
• Creates the annual operating budget for the properties.
• Leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive annual business plan aligned with brand direction.
• Produces accurate forecasts that enable operations to react to changes in the business.
• Advises the GM and executive committee on operating/financial issues.
