Job summary

Accor Dubai is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee cluster-wide finance operations across multiple properties. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control to drive profitability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 5-8 years of experience in hotel finance or accounting, preferably within an international hotel group.
• Previous experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance management position.
• Experience managing multi-property or cluster finance operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost control, and internal audit.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in hotel financial systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, accounting, and reporting across all cluster properties.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial business plans.
• Monitor actual financial performance against approved budgets and analyze variances.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure effective control of budgets.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare consolidated cluster financial performance reports and KPI tracking.
• Ensure compliance with UAE statutory requirements and corporate policies.
