Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager (Mobile App) in Dubai to lead the app teams and drive technical strategy across Scrum groups. You will oversee BOT staff, align engineering practices, and set a clear vision for growth within the Dubai app organization.

You will mentor engineers across iOS and Android, champion agile delivery, and collaborate with global peers to achieve the broader app objectives. Strong leadership and tech decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimally 10 years of experience in Software/App development with 4 years of people management.
• Strong mobile engineering background with ability to guide developers across iOS and Android.
• Deep proficiency in iOS: Swift, MVVM, RxSwift, SwiftUI, Combine or Android: Kotlin, Volley, RxJava, Dagger.
• Proven track record leading teams that build and ship large-scale mobile apps serving millions of users.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and driving delivery in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and strategic leadership across Dubai app scrum teams.
• Oversee BOT of key staff within these teams.
• Ensure consistency in approach and robust support for all teams.
• Set vision and growth plan for the overall app organization.
• Collaborate with peers to deliver broader App objectives.
• Identify new technologies and practices to raise engineering standards.
