Job summary

Talabat is seeking a Mobile Engineering Manager to lead mobile engineering teams in Dubai. You will be responsible for building mobile consumer experiences on iOS and Android, ensuring high technical standards and effective delivery of features.

The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of mobile engineering experience and at least 2 years in a leadership role, with a strong focus on performance and user experience. This hands-on leadership role is for someone passionate about growing engineers and enhancing mobile craft.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on mobile engineering experience (iOS, Android, or cross-platform).
• 2+ years leading and managing mobile engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of mobile app architecture.
• Experience shipping mobile apps at scale with a focus on performance.
• Strong automated testing mindset and experience with mobile release management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6–10 mobile engineers through planning, building, and shipping features.
• Drive testing strategy and maintain release cadence.
• Make architectural decisions on mobile patterns.
• Coach and develop engineers through regular 1:1s and pairing sessions.
• Contribute to mobile engineering standards and practices.
