Job summary

Flip retail is seeking a Project Manager for Mobile App Development in Dubai. The role requires hands-on project leadership for mobile solutions and cross-functional collaboration with developers, designers, and content teams.

You will orchestrate timelines, resources, and deliverables while upholding quality standards and client expectations. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in software development with mobile platforms (Android/iOS), a solid grasp of UI/UX, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology is required.
• 6+ years of technical experience in software development is required.
• Experience with Android/iOS backend and databases is a plus.
• Understand UI/UX and its functionality.
• Experience with Frontend such as iOS/Android and Web is a plus.
• Ability to manage resources (developers, designers).
• Experience with Git.
• Written and spoken English proficiency.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work with a team remotely.

Responsibilities

• Creates and implements project plans and adjusts as needed to meet changing requirements.
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Reviews deliverables prepared by the team before passing to client.
• Applies our methodology and project criteria.
• Prepares for communication reviews and quality assurance procedures.
• Reduces risk and exposure on the project.
• Ensures project files are complete, up-to-date, and stored properly.
• Drafts documents, requirements, functional specs, project checklists, UAT test cases and communication plans.
• Handles project administration such as meeting minutes, reports, timelines, and other governance tasks.
• Assists the team with project tasks, such as updating the website using CMS, uploading media, resizing assets, content checking, QC, proofreading.
• Participates in brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional scope as needed.
