Job summary

RINA is recruiting for a Middle East and India IFI Commercial Management Developer to join its Abu Dhabi office within the RINA Consulting IFI Commercial and Tender Management Division. The role focuses on business development with major international financial institutions across energy, decarbonization, infrastructure and mobility sectors.

Qualifications

• Environmental Engineering background or other technical degree is essential.
• 2+ years experience in Consultancy and funded proposals/projects beneficial.
• Excellent level of written and spoken English is essential.
• Basic knowledge of the International Finance Institutions market is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Creativity, curiosity and open-minded approach are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in synergy with the team to monitor current investment programs in the Middle East, understand priorities in Energy, Infrastructures and Mobility.
• Evaluate opportunities launched by IFIs in cooperation with Operational Technical Units.
• Coordinate preparation of Expressions of Interest and proposals for tenders from DFIs/Lenders/Investors.
• Build a local network of partners, local experts and subcontractors for team formation.
• Support promotional and commercial activities with DFIs and potential partners.
• Understand DFIs’ tendering procedures and contribute to fulfill their requests.
• Assist in internal reporting of activities and achievements.
• Facilitate internal networking with the DFI Team of RINA in Italy and other units involved in DFI business.

RINA is currently recruiting for a Middle East and India IFI Commercial Management Developer to join its office in Abu Dhabi within the RINA Consulting IFI Commercial and Tender Management Division.

Mission

Rina is looking for a Business Development Manager for its Abu Dhabi Hub, Emirates, keen to develop a career related to the management of the business promoted especially by the largest International Financial Institutions (s). This role offers involvement in many high-profile opportunities worldwide in key sectors energy, decarbonization, civil infrastructures, mobility. You will be integrated in a team, fully dedicated to international business development and you will have the chance to interact with the Team of RINA and all the operational units involved in this business in Middle East. Travel is expected to be approximately 20% of the total time.

Key Accountabilities

• Work in synergy with the team of RINA, to monitor current investment programs in Middle East, to understand their priorities in the field of Energy, Infrastructures and Mobility
• Evaluate, in cooperation with the Operational Technical Units, the opportunities launched by the IFIs
• Contribute and coordinate the preparation of Expressions of Interest and proposals to reply to open and restricted tenders launched by DFIs/Lenders/Investors
• Build a local network of and interact with suitable partners, local experts and subcontractors to shape the best team for the assignment
• Support RINA promotional and commercial activities with DFIs, in the area
• Support RINA promotional and commercial activities with potential partners with complementary competencies
• Understand the DFIs’ procedures for tendering and awarding contracts, contribute to fulfill their requests
• Support the team in preparing internal reporting of activities performed and achievements
• Facilitate the internal networking, by interacting with the DFI Team of RINA in Italy and the other Operational Units usually involved in the DFI business.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering

Master’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

• An Environmental Engineering background or other technical degree or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Previous experience (>2 years) working for a Consultancy and in funded proposals/projects would be beneficial
• Excellent level of written and spoken English is essential
• Basic knowledge of the International Finance Institutions market is a plus
• Ability to work in a team
