Job summary

Ounass, a leading luxury e-commerce and technology business in the Middle East, seeks a Merchandise Operations Administration Intern to support product, inventory and admin activities. Qualifications

• Currently studying towards or recently completed a degree in Business, Fashion, Merchandising, Retail, Supply Chain, Marketing, Data or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support the merchandise operations team with day-to-day administrative and coordination activities.
• Maintain accurate product, supplier, pricing, stock and catalogue information across internal systems and databases.
• Assist with product creation, set-up, categorisation, descriptions, attributes and imagery uploads.
• Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports, trackers and dashboards relating to product and inventory performance.
• Support processing of purchase orders, delivery information, product launches, stock updates and other merchandising activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external brand partners to collect missing product information and resolve data discrepancies.
• Conduct regular checks to identify errors, duplicate records, incorrect pricing, missing content or inconsistencies in product data.
• Assist with stock availability checks, inventory reconciliations and product status updates.
• Support the preparation of seasonal launches, campaigns, promotions and other initiatives.

Job Overview

We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and eager to learn. Someone who enjoys working with data, has a strong interest in fashion and e-commerce, and is excited to gain hands-on experience in merchandise operations. As a Merchandise Operations Administration Intern, you'll support the smooth coordination of product, inventory and administrative activities across our merchandising team.

This is a six-month contract opportunity to gain valuable exposure to merchandise planning, product administration, inventory management and cross-functional collaboration within one of the Middle East's leading luxury e-commerce and technology businesses. You'll work closely with merchandising, buying, planning, operations, finance and technology teams to help ensure product information and operational processes are accurate, timely and well organised.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the merchandise operations team with day-to-day administrative and coordination activities.




• Maintain accurate product, supplier, pricing, stock and catalogue information across internal systems and databases.




• Assist with product creation, product set-up, categorisation, descriptions, attributes and imagery uploads.




• Help prepare and update spreadsheets, reports, trackers and dashboards relating to product and inventory performance.




• Support the processing of purchase orders, delivery information, product launches, stock updates and other merchandising activities.




• Coordinate with internal teams and external brand partners to collect missing product information and resolve data discrepancies.

• Organise and maintain digital files, documents and operational records in line with agreed processes.




• Help track deadlines, follow up on outstanding actions and ensure information is shared with relevant stakeholders on time.




• Prepare meeting materials, take notes and support follow-up actions where required.




• Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, data accuracy and team efficiency.




• Work collaboratively with merchandising, buying, planning, fulfilment, finance, marketing and technology teams.




• Support additional projects and operational tasks as required during the six-month contract.

What We're Looking For

• Currently studying towards or recently completed a degree in Business, Fashion, Merchandising, Retail, Supply Chain, Marketing, Data or a related discipline.




• Available to commit to a six-month contract internship.




• Strong interest in fashion, luxury retail, e-commerce and merchandise operations.




• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate information across multiple systems and files.




• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities.




• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, data and administrative systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is an advantage.




• Analytical and curious, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify practical solutions.




• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.




• Proactive, reliable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.




• Comfortable working with new technologies and learning internal systems quickly.




• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
