Job summary

Careers at UAE is seeking a Fashion Operations Intern for a 6-month term based in the UAE. You will support daily operations in the Middle East, assist in deploying three major regional projects, and help with staff scheduling tools and RFID deployments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, and a proactive, analytical, team-oriented mindset. Internship start is May in Dubai, with 4 days of operations per week.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations follow up within the middle east market.
• Deploy 3 main projects this year across the region (INCHANEL, RFID project, Staff Scheduling tool).
• Participate in monthly committees and follow up on boutiques needs/feedbacks/evolution requests.
• Assist in deploying tools and training boutiques teams; visiting boutiques regularly to understand priorities and needs; support operational efficiency.

Fashion Operations Intern

Reporting to the Fashion Operations Manager, you will support daily operations follow up within middle east market.

Internship: 6 months – Starting from May and already based in UAE.

Responsibilities:

Operations: 4 days a week

Supporting the Operations managers on deploying 3 main projects this year among all the projects that will be deployed within the region :

• INCHANEL:
  • Ensuring smooth operation execution
  • Participation to monthly committee
  • Follow up on boutiques needs/ feedbacks / evolution requests.
• RFID project:
  • Accompanying boutiques deployment
  • Participation to regular meeting to provide UAE market feedbacks, share best practices and implement evolutions of the tool.
• Staff Scheduling tool:
  • Ensuring a smooth pilot launch phase in Dubai Mall
  • Following up on the evolutions requested
  • Active participation on training boutiques teams on this new app
  • Accompanying Mall of the Emirates boutiques and Abu Dhabi boutique deployment on this tool (target May/ June)

Overall support on the other projects if needed such as Easy boutique, queue management tool, appointment booking tool, fixit tool… Being an active key contact maintaining a strong communication & support to boutique teams Visiting boutiques regularly (once every 2 week) to understand their priorities & needs, support their operational efficiency, taking feedbacks.

Supply Chain

Supporting the Supply chain Executive on the below tasks:

• Preparing customs documentation & coordination with forwarders for timely customs clearance for Dubai Duty Free weekly shipments.
• Monitor and follow up on Statement of Accounts (SOA) to Wholesale partners, customs portal and Freight portal Support in developing Freight dashboard, and reporting data

Profile:

Bachelor degree or Master degree profile looking for a nice experience in a dynamic team.

Proficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint

Proactivity, curiousness, and reactivity is expected from the candidate.
