Job summary

Black & Grey HR, on behalf of a leading Tier 1 UAE contractor, seeks an experienced Technical Manager – MEP in Dubai. The role oversees technical MEP coordination, BIM integration, design review, and construction support for large high-rise developments.

The candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree and 15+ years in contracting with heavy BIM and Revit proficiency. Immediate availability is preferred, with a competitive package based on industry standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
Minimum 15+ years of experience in contracting companies.
Mandatory experience in high-rise building projects.
Strong BIM Modeling and Revit expertise.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all technical MEP activities for high-rise building projects.
Review MEP drawings, specs and docs to ensure compliance with standards.
Coordinate with consultants, design teams, subcontractors, and site execution teams.
Oversee BIM coordination between MEP, architectural, and structural disciplines.
Manage and review Revit models, BIM deliverables, and AutoCAD drawings.
Resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during execution.
Ensure proper coordination of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Fighting and ELV systems.
Support project planning, technical submissions, material approvals, and value engineering initiatives.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of technical deliverables.
Maintain technical documentation and coordination records throughout the project lifecycle.
