Job summary

Black & Grey HR, partnering with a leading Tier 1 contracting company in the UAE, seeks a Senior Planning Engineer – MEP for high-rise buildings. You will lead planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination of MEP activities to ensure timely project execution.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, 8+ years in contracting, and proven high-rise project experience, with strong analytical and communication skills. Immediate availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering mandatory
• Minimum 8 years of experience in contracting companies
• Mandatory experience in high-rise building projects
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring
• Good understanding of MEP systems and coordination processes
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple project priorities and meet deadlines effectively

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project schedules, work programs, and progress reports for MEP activities
• Monitor project progress and identify delays, risks, and corrective action plans
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure milestones are achieved
• Support planning and execution of MEP works for high-rise building projects
• Review project drawings, technical documents, and construction schedules
• Assist in resource planning, productivity tracking, and project forecasting
• Prepare recovery schedules and progress presentations for management and clients
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, company standards, and contractual requirements
