Job summary

Undisclosed in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee large-scale building and MEP construction projects. The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

You will lead planning, coordination, procurement, and stakeholder management, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.

Qualifications

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all MEP construction activities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Manage procurement activities, material requirements, subcontractor performance, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements across all project activities.
• Lead project teams, conduct progress meetings, and provide regular project status reports.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover of MEP systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant MEP construction experience, including substantial experience managing building projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale MEP projects from execution through completion and handover.
• Excellent knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Strong expertise in project planning, cost control, procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination capabilities.
