Job summary

China State Construction in Dubai seeks an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead newly awarded large-scale projects. You will manage a team, oversee documentation, and coordinate with consultants and clients to ensure milestones are met.

The role requires strong leadership, contract knowledge, safety compliance, and the ability to handle submissions, variations, and claims while reporting progress to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Project management with complete responsibility for all situations.
• Lead and coordinate a team, assign duties and monitor quality.
• Prepare project documentation, submissions, follow-up, and achieve milestones.
• Disseminate information quickly; ensure approved documents such as materials, drawings, RFIs, and methods statements are issued.
• Ensure timely submissions of claims, NCRs, variations, and EOT claims; maintain weekly reports.
• Track cash flow, progress, and long lead items; coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with authorities, consultants and clients; support meetings and inspections.
• Expedite site progress with sub-contractors and ensure testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.
