Job summary

leading-edge is hiring an MEP Manager in the UAE (onsite) to oversee all mechanical, electrical and plumbing operations for a hospitality-focused facility. The role requires leadership of maintenance teams and contractors to deliver reliable performance and energy efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in MEP management within hospitality or facilities management in the UAE/GCC and a relevant engineering degree. UAE residency and right to work are essential.

Role Overview

Our Client is a growing organisation in the UAE seeking an experienced MEP Manager with a strong hospitality, hotel, or facilities management background. The successful candidate will oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations and lead teams and contractors to deliver seamless facility performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) operations and maintenance activities across the facility.
• Lead and supervise maintenance teams and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Manage HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical, plumbing, BMS (Building Management Systems), and CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
• Monitor and control maintenance budgets, contracts, and vendor performance.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and performance updates for senior management.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and energy efficiency initiatives.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5 to 7 years of MEP management experience within hospitality, hotels, or facilities management in the UAE or GCC region — mandatory.
• Hands‑on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and CAFM systems.
• Proven track record managing maintenance teams, contractors, and operational activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• UAE or GCC hospitality or facilities management background is strongly preferred.
• Must be currently based in the UAE with valid residency and legal right to work.
