Job summary

Leading Edge is hiring an experienced MEP Manager in the UAE to oversee all MEP operations across a hospitality or facilities setting. The role focuses on leadership of maintenance teams, contractor coordination, and managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS and CAFM systems to ensure peak facility performance.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of MEP management experience in the UAE or GCC, a relevant engineering degree, and a solid track record in energy efficiency and regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of MEP management experience in UAE or GCC hospitality or facilities.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, CAFM.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Based in UAE with valid residency and work rights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all MEP operations and maintenance across the facility.
• Lead maintenance teams and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Role Overview

Our Client is a growing organisation in the UAE seeking an experienced MEP Manager with a strong hospitality hotel or facilities management background. The successful candidate will oversee all mechanical electrical and plumbing operations and lead teams and contractors to deliver seamless facility performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) operations and maintenance activities across the facility.
• Lead and supervise maintenance teams and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Manage HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) electrical plumbing BMS (Building Management Systems) and CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
• Monitor and control maintenance budgets contracts and vendor performance.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE health safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare technical reports maintenance logs and performance updates for senior management.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and energy efficiency initiatives.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5 to 7 years of MEP management experience within hospitality hotels or facilities management in the UAE or GCC region mandatory.
• Hands‑on knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing BMS and CAFM systems.
• Proven track record managing maintenance teams contractors and operational activities.
• Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Electrical or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• UAE or GCC hospitality or facilities management background is strongly preferred.
• Must be currently based in the UAE with valid residency and legal right to work.
