Job summary

Fixperts Contracting LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced MEP Fit-Out Engineer to lead coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works for fit-out, refurbishment and renovation projects. You will supervise site teams, manage subcontractors, and interface with clients and consultants to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires UAE fit-out experience, hands-on project execution, and strong knowledge of MEP systems, AutoCAD, Excel and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 3–5 years of experience in MEP execution.
• Hands-on fit-out or refurbishment project exposure.
• UAE fit-out experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating civil works and interior finishes.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors across multiple trades.
• Familiarity with UAE approval processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; MS Excel and project reporting.
• Knowledge of scheduling software is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and installation practices.
• Ability to interpret coordinated drawings and resolve site issues.
• Effective planning, prioritization and cost awareness.
• Clear communication and stakeholder coordination.
• Team supervision, accountability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and coordinate MEP works for fit-out, refurbishment and renovation projects.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage and related building services installation.
• Coordinate MEP activities with civil and architectural works.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and site conditions for discrepancies.
• Check service routes, levels, openings and access to prevent clashes.
• Prepare material requirements, quantity take-offs and submittals.
• Allocate work to supervisors, technicians and subcontractors; monitor productivity.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers and building management.
• Support project approvals, work permits and inspections.
• Monitor progress against program; report delays and risks.
• Identify variations; assist with cost estimation and billing verification.
• Conduct site inspections; ensure compliance with drawings, quality, HSE.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag rectification and handover.
• Maintain site reports, as-built drawings, warranties, and O&M docs.

Role OverviewFixperts Projects is seeking an MEP Fit-Out Engineer with practical experience in mechanical electrical and plumbing works along with exposure to civil and interior fit-out activities The successful candidate will coordinate site execution subcontractors and project requirements to ensure works are completed within the approved scope schedule budget and quality standards

Key Responsibilities

• Plan supervise and coordinate MEP works for fit-out refurbishment and renovation projects
• Oversee the installation of HVAC electrical plumbing drainage and associated building services
• Coordinate MEP activities with civil and architectural works including partitions ceilings flooring tiling waterproofing and finishing
• Review drawings specifications BOQs and site conditions identify discrepancies and raise technical queries before execution
• Check service routes levels openings and access requirements to prevent clashes and rework
• Prepare material requirements quantity take-offs technical submittals and procurement requests
• Allocate work to supervisors technicians and subcontractors and monitor productivity and workmanship
• Coordinate with clients consultants suppliers subcontractors and building management teams
• Support project approvals work permits and inspections with the relevant stakeholders
• Monitor progress against the project programme and report delays risks and corrective actions
• Identify variations maintain supporting records and assist with cost estimation and billing verification
