Job summary

ARCO TURNKEY SOLUTIONS CONTRACTING LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced MEP Estimator with 5+ years in MEP estimation and tendering to prepare quantity take-offs, costings, and competitive bid submissions for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical and ELV works.

The role requires reading drawings and specifications, coordinating with procurement and project teams, and delivering accurate estimates on time for UAE fit-out and construction projects.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in MEP estimation and tendering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• UAE construction and fitout project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and BOQs.
• Perform quantity take-offs for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical and ELV systems.
• Prepare cost estimates and pricing for MEP projects.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparation of technical and commercial bid submissions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project teams during bidding.

Job description

We are looking for a MEP Estimator with at least 5 years of experience in MEP estimation and tendering. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing quantity take-offs, costing, and tender submissions for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs
• Perform quantity take-offs for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical, and ELV systems
• Prepare cost estimates and pricing for MEP projects
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial bid submissions
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project teams during the bidding stage
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
• Maintain estimation records and cost databases
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings when required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in MEP estimation and tendering.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical System.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Plan swift software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience in UAE construction and fitout projects is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
