Job summary

Golden Fox Nuilding Maintenance LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Estimator / MEP Estimation Engineer to join our team. You will prepare accurate and competitive estimates for MEP works across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire fighting, with focus on tendering, take-offs, BOQ pricing and complete submissions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in MEP estimation, UAE/GCC market knowledge, proficiency in Excel and estimation software, and strong coordination with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 10 years of relevant MEP experience.
Strong experience specifically in MEP estimation and tendering.
Preferably minimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experience.
Proven experience preparing complete MEP tender estimates and commercial submissions.
Strong understanding of UAE construction practices, suppliers, subcontractors, and market pricing.

Responsibilities

Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of work, and contractual requirements.
Prepare detailed MEP quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
Price BOQs for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, and related systems.
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor works.
Issue RFQs and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations technically and commercially.
Prepare quotation comparison sheets and recommend suitable options.
Identify discrepancies, scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions, and tender risks.
Prepare complete MEP tender submissions and commercial documentation.
Support management in final tender pricing and bid reviews.
Identify value-engineering and cost-optimization opportunities.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contracts, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Attend tender clarification meetings and site visits when required.
Maintain updated supplier, subcontractor, and market-pricing information.
Support preparation of estimates for variations, change orders, and additional works.
Review estimated costs against actual project costs to improve future estimating accuracy.

We are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Estimator / MEP Estimation Engineer to join our team in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and related MEP works.
