Job summary

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is hiring MEP Estimation Engineers to join at the head office in Dubai. You will analyze drawings, specifications, and BOQ to develop accurate cost estimates for complex projects.

The role focuses on tender quality, supplier enquiries, cost control, and risk highlighting across mechanical and electrical systems to support project budgets. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Analyze schematics, tender drawings, specifications, BOQ, and contract conditions.
• Check file integrity, identify missing documents, and define scope of work.
• Verify tender submission requirements.
• Sort latest drawings, specifications, and BOQ for each system.
• Send enquiries to suppliers, coordinate with vendors, and track responses.
• Check scope and technical compliance to minimize exclusions/deviations.
• Fill standard comparison sheets and add costs for missing items.
• Select quotations to use and price the developed BOQ.
• Summarize the project budget by system and check for costing accuracy.
• Highlight risky/uncertain items.

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting MEP Estimation Engineers (Estimators) to join at the company head office in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze schematics, tender drawings, specifications, bills of quantity, conditions of contract and other relevant documentation.
• Check the integrity of the file & list out the missing documents/ information, Clear the scope of work, Identity special system/requirement.
• Check the tender submission requirement.
• Sort out latest drawings, specification and BOQ for each system.
• Sent enquiry to the supplier in vendor list and selected alternative supplier, Follow up with supplier closely and feedback to supplier on time.
• Check scope compliance and technical compliance to minimize the exclusion/deviation, Negotiate the best offer.
• Fill the standard comparison sheet.
• Add cost for the missing items.
• Select the quotation to be used.
• Price the further developed BOQ and Summarize the project budget by system.
• Check and make sure no mistakes in the costing and prepare the cost analysis documents.
• Highlight the risky/uncertain items.
