Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site MEP Engineer (Fit out) role based in Abu Dhabi. The MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for fit-out projects in residential and commercial buildings. Daily tasks include reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating with architects, civil engineers, and contractors, and ensuring that MEP installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and client requirements. The role involves conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, monitoring project progress, and preparing reports and documentation. The engineer will also support material selection, cost estimation, and quality control to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and timely fit-out solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and Building Services for fit-out projects.
• Practical experience in Electrical Engineering and MEP Coordination across residential and commercial buildings.
• Hands-on skills in Plumbing design, installation, and troubleshooting within integrated MEP works.
• Hands-on skills in HVAC design, installation, and troubleshooting within integrated MEP works
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in design and coordination tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar BIM software) and MS Office.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, standards, and authority regulations (Abu Dhabi Municipality, Civil Defense, TAQA etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and site supervision skills, with attention to safety and quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary site teams.
• Previous experience in interior fit-out or turnkey projects in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
