Job summary

Archcorp Architectural Engineering in the United Arab Emirates seeks an Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in building services and MEP projects. You will design, coordinate and prepare electrical systems for residential, commercial, mixed-use and high-rise developments in line with UAE authority regulations and international standards.

The role requires 3–8 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP and ETAP.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
3–8 years of experience in electrical design for building services/MEP projects.
Experience in UAE/GCC preferred; residential towers, villas and mixed-use developments advantageous.

Responsibilities

Prepare electrical design calculations, layouts and reports for building projects.
Design and coordinate small power, earthing, lighting and ELV systems.
Create load schedules and single-line diagrams.
Perform load estimation and voltage drop calculations.
Coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing and fire-protection teams.
Prepare authority submission drawings and documents.
Review shop drawings, submittals and technical specs; attend coordination meetings.
