Job summary

Dutco Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with MEP contracting experience to oversee design, installation, and maintenance on construction projects in the UAE.

You will lead mechanical systems design for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, supervise site installations, and collaborate with project teams to meet schedules and budgets. This role requires strong knowledge of codes, excellent communication, and the ability to guide junior engineers under pressure.

Qualifications

• UAE/MOFA attested Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with MEP contracting companies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• PE license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and building codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Overseeing the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Conducting site visits to inspect mechanical work progress and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
