Job summary

CADD EMIRATES COMPUTER TRADING L.L.C in UAE is seeking an experienced MEP Draftsman to prepare and modify shop drawings across Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Plumbing disciplines.

You will coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural teams, generate as-built drawings, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support site teams with drafting requirements. Immediate joiners preferred; prior UAE project exposure is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Drafting, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience as an MEP Draftsman.
• Mandatory experience in UAE or GCC construction projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MEP drafting standards.
• Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Must be available in the UAE for face-to-face interviews.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify MEP shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Plumbing drawings based on project requirements.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural drawings.
• Prepare coordinated drawings and resolve site-related drawing issues.
• Generate as-built drawings and technical documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authority regulations and industry standards.
• Support project engineers and site teams with technical drafting requirements.
• Review consultant comments and incorporate revisions as required.
• Maintain drawing records and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
