Job summary

CNS Middle East is seeking an experienced MEP Draftsman to develop 2D drawings for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting, electrical power and lighting systems. You will prepare schematic and single-line diagrams, coordinate with engineers, and ensure drawings meet local standards and project specifications.

The role requires at least 5 years in MEP drafting, proficiency in AutoCAD, and familiarity with Revit MEP and Navisworks. Immediate availability and UAE residence status are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as an MEP Draftsman.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit MEP and Navisworks preferred.
• Sound understanding of MEP systems and drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MEP layouts and 2D drawings for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, electrical systems.
• Create schematic, riser, single-line diagrams and equipment layouts.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers for design drawings and construction details.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and correct errors.
• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings from site measurements.
