Job summary

Azizi Developments, via Gardinia Contracting, seeks an experienced BIM Modeler – MEP with a focus on swimming pools in Dubai. You will develop accurate 3D BIM models for pool MEP systems and collaborate across civil, architectural, and landscape teams to ensure BEP alignment.

Responsibilities include model creation in Revit or Navisworks, clash detection, and maintaining library standards while supporting costs and RFIs throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related MEP discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler, with pool MEP experience in UAE.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; UAE standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for swimming pool MEP systems.
• Translate 2D drawings into coordinated 3D models.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with other models.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced BIM Modeler – MEP with a specialization in swimming pool projects to develop accurate 3D BIM models covering pool mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The role requires strong technical modeling capability combined with sound knowledge of pool hydraulics, filtration, and UAE MEP/pool design standards, and close coordination with civil, structural, landscape, and architectural teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for swimming pool MEP systems, including pool circulation and filtration piping, pumps, chemical dosing systems, heaters, pool lighting, and electrical works, using Revit or equivalent BIM software.
• Translate 2D pool MEP design drawings, hydraulic calculations, and equipment schedules into coordinated 3D models.
• Conduct clash detection and coordination with civil, structural, landscape, and architectural models using Navisworks.
• Produce and maintain MEP shop drawings, sections, and details for swimming pool works in line with the project's BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Ensure models comply with UAE authority standards (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, relevant developer specifications) for pool MEP installations.
• Maintain BIM model standards, family libraries, and parameters specific to pool equipment and MEP components.
• Support quantity take-offs and material schedules extracted from BIM models for pool MEP scopes.
• Coordinate with pool design engineers, MEP consultants, and site teams to resolve design discrepancies and interface issues.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and update models based on design changes and RFIs.
• Maintain version control and documentation per project BIM protocols.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related MEP discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler, with dedicated experience on swimming pool MEP systems for UAE projects.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Sound knowledge of pool circulation, filtration, chemical dosing, and pool equipment systems, along with UAE pool/MEP design standards.
• Experience working within BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ISO 19650 workflows preferred.
• UAE experience is mandatory; prior work with pool contractors or MEP subcontracting firms is an advantage.
